Books, books and more books, yea I like books

Thank you all so much for visiting my blog. I love all your comments.

A couple of you mentioned my books in the where bloggers create post.

So I guess its time to talk about those addictions I mentioned in an earlier post.

Yes, I am addicted to books. I have many books in my home that I can't bear to part with. Some I've read-more than once. Some are still waiting to be read. You know the TBR pile that just keeps growing.

I also have some magazines I can't part with: Romantic Homes, Victoria Bliss and nearly anything by Stampingon and company. I also collect several cooking magazines: Taste of Home, Taste of the South, and Paula Deen.

So here are some pictures of some of the books.

I collect cookbooks, cookbooklets, etc. A couple years ago we remodeled and had this wonderful built in cabinet and bookshelves put in along one wall in the dining room. The cabinets match our kitchen cabinets.

This is my "reading corner".

I have this bookcase

And love to sit in the chaise and read.

And of course this library table is loaded with books.

I have a Stephen King Collection. Can you tell I love King?

I have a box of books in my craft room. And this bookshelf with loads of books.

In my craft room are 3 bookshelves with books on scrapbooking, cross stitch, knitting, quilting, art journaling and sewing plus a few other crafty things. I have magazines on the same subjects. To me the Stampington magazines are more like a book.

  1. What a fantastic collection of books you have! My husband and daughter are bookworms too. They collect and read all the time. I love how you displayed them too. Thanks so much for visiting me and the sweet comment. It's nice to meet you.
    Hope your day is fun,

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog on Teacup Tuesday! I'm glad you like my Toby jugs and my studio too! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a house full of books!

  3. I've got the Stephen King collection too, his older stuff is my fave.

My husband has a digital reader, but I'll never give up my books and shelves full of them!!

  4. Glad to see others who understand the books.

karla his older books are my faves, too. Although I really liked Under the Dome. It seemed more like the old King.

I think I want a digital reader one of these days, but it would never replace the shelves of books.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Books, books and more books, Oh my! I love books! I have a magazine addiction also. I have every copy of Romantic home and Victoria. Thank you for visiting my blog. Will look for you at next years where bloggers create party! ~Robin~
