Teach me to crochet nannie

My granddaughter spent 2 nights here and wanted to learn to crochet. My mom taught me to crochet by showing me how to make a granny squarge and a rippple stitch. I'm trying to teach myself more stitches and how to "read" crochet patterns. I got a book called The Crochet Bible (great book).

Anyway on Sunday when she got up she told me she dreamed of making loops.

  1. This is great! It's a vanishing art and more of our young ones should learn how to crochet. I love to crochet and a friend taught me when I was about 16 years old. I can read about any pattern but sometimes with yarn I have trouble getting the gauge right! :) Oh, I just can't be perfect you know. :)
    Be a sweetie,

  3. What a Great Legacy to pass on to the Grands! I wish I knew how to Crochet... I think I learned it a long time ago in Home Ec, but that was Centuries ago, ya know? *Winks* I've forgotten way more than I remember! *LOL* Thanks for dropping by... yes, my Princess has the Lovely Exotic Native American and Bohemian Gypsy look of our Ancestors more than I... I was the 'Fair' one in our Family that looked different than all the rest... always looked like I couldda been Adopted or stolen away by the Gypsies & Apaches! *LOL*

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
