Tennessee Strawberries

It's berry time in Tennessee. So we drove up to Dayton/Spring City the other day and got 2 flats of strawberries. They are straight from the fields and we buy them right off the truck. You can't get any fresher than that. Mr. Scrap pointed to berries at Walmart and said those are cheaper but I told him and how many days ago were they picked.

What do you do with 2 flats of berries? Well, you have them with your sourdough French Toast.

And you make 7 batches of Freezer jam (just in time too, because the you find the last jar as you are making room for the new jars in the freezer).

You freeze some whole on cookie sheets to put in freezer bags.

And you make muffins.

And you slice and freeze many quarts.

Do you like strawberries?

What is your favorite way to eat them?

I think I forgot to mention all the berries that got eaten just like they were.
