I live on the outskirts of a small southern town. Unless you are traveling along I75 and want to stop for a meal, gas or place to sleep you'd probably never know anything about it.
Well my little town has been devastated by a tornado. At least 8 dead that they have confirmed.
One of my co-workers lives on the other side of Ringgold-she's okay but her house has damage.
My heart goes out to all the people in Miss, Alabama, Tennessee, GA, VA etc.

Dogwood Winter
I guess I'm beginning to sound like my southern grandmothers. But its that "spell" of weather after it was warmed up and everyone got their spring/summer clothes out (you can go from winter to summer clothing here in a day) and it gets cold again. Then the dogwoods start to bloom.
My mom is getting better. She is in rehab. This has been a slow recovery for her. She has speech, occupational and physical therapy. Her appointment with the oncologist is next Friday (my granddaughter's birthday).
The azeleas are JUST beginning to bloom.
