Busy days

I've been busy taking my hubby to the doctor. He has hip, leg and knee problems mostly due to arthritis. The last doctor he saw referred him back to the first doctor. I asked him if he felt like he was on a merry go round.
I've also been busy with my sister who had surgery for colon and ovarian cancer. She started chemo last week. Praying for her every day.

We've had a lot of things in the garden keeping my busy, too. I've frozen corn, squash, and zucchini. I'm going to shred some zucchini and freeze it to use in bread.
Last week I canned green beans, made blackberry jam, and made blackberry jelly.
We managed a short trip to Virginia for hubby's family reunion.
Love this little sleepy face.
 And this little smiley face.
 Some of the canning.
 Corn from the garden
 Veggies from the garden
Blackberries from vines we planted last year.

  1. Hi Renee! Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your hubby and your sister. Sending prayers for them. Love those darling little faces too. Oh, my, but you've been so busy. You have quite the gardening thumb! Your canned goods look delicious and I see blackberries! I love blackberries. When I was a little girl we had some wild blackberries growing behind our house and I would go pick some and mother would make a blackberry cobbler. I can still taste it!
Thanks for popping in to see my Barbie clothes. I know our little girls go through all of the different 'doll' phases.
    Hope you're doing well.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  2. Hi Renee! I'm back and now I've just spied that Butterprint Pyrex bowl. I love that pattern and have a few pieces. Thanks for popping in to see me and good luck finding the red and white checks. Sounds so sweet.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia :)
