Spring is beautiful here.

I've been out pulling weeds, pulling up dry leaves, stalks, etc from the flower beds.

My mom is still in the hospital. She's having trouble walking so they want to send her to rehab. But of course insurance has a say in that. So we're waiting.

  1. I do Pray your Mom receives a Healing Touch and the Insurance approves her every need to make a good recovery!

Your photo is magnificent!!! Note on all my Veggie Garden plants, grown from seed purchased at the Dollar Store for TEN CENTS a packet! Planted above ground in large plastic trays that are about 12 inches deep and filled with Miracle Grow Soil. The Butter Lettuce is in an old Gold Miner's Trough filled with Miracle Grow... the containers you use can be some of the Found Treasures you liked the look of and can hold Soil! My Mints were cuttings obtained from Friends, mint cuttings take quite well. Very inexpensive but pays huge dividends in organic produce, which always tastes so much better when picked fresh before each meal!

    Happy Spring... Dawn... The Bohemian

  2. Hello Renee,
I make my first visit to your blog at such a sad and scary time. I'll hold you and your Mom near in my thoughts, hoping you'll both find some peace in the days ahead.
    Brightest of blessings,
    Birdie
